We will continue to improve the user experience as far as possible for all our audiences by applying the relevant accessibility standards. We subscribe to the ambition of the European Accessibility Act, and an Ally of the Publishing Accessibility Action Group Charter. 

We are a publisher mainly of physical comic books, graphic novels and illustrated books acquired from third-party originators. Rights to publish as ebooks is limited to only a few of our agreements, and our distinct markets are not, as yet, mature enough or big enough to warrant the cost and investment of adapting our works as ebooks.  

Should future opportunities arise to publish our works as ebooks, each project would be carefully assessed for compliance with EAA standards and requirements. The comic book or graphic novel genre is generally considered exempt from EAA standards because of the potential disproportionate burden of adaptation, however each project will be considered on its own merits. 

Some of our titles are accompanied by audio narrations. These are primarily designed as tools for assisting reading and comprehension of physical books, and access is only available through a QR code printed inside a copy of the physical book. For each new narrated book, we will carefully consider whether we are able to supplement access for audiences with visual disability by including image descriptions to the narrations. We will also apply this principle when we repackage any backlist title narration.
