Making a purchase

Our website has been designed to make shopping easy and secure. However, if you would prefer to order over the phone please call us on +44 (0) 1239 811442. You can also order in writing or by emailing us on dalen@dalenllyfrau.com.

 

Our books are arranged in groupings. When you have found
what you want, you can add to your shopping basket. Please note that the basket does not commit you to anything. You can edit it or empty it at any point. Once you have selected the books you want you then press the ‘Buy’ button and our
secure checkout and payment system will then guide you through step by step.

 

We accept credit and debit card payments which are processed using a secure server – our payment processors are PayPal, one of the world’s leading online payment providers. Our system is set up to charge credit and debit cards in Pounds Sterling (or Euros for certain titles). Please note that if you are shopping from outside the UK, or outside the Euro zone for those titles charged for in Euros, your card company will convert our Sterling or Euros price into your local currency and the amount will appear on your next card statement.

 

Your statutory rights are not affected.

 

 

Delivery information

We aim to despatch your books to you as soon as possible usually within 2 days of your order being received. We send our orders by first class mail, air mail, or parcel post. Different packing and postage rates apply to different areas of the world; you are required to select your appropriate location when ordering so that we can charge you the relevant post and packing cost. If your order is made with the incorrect post and packing charge, we may hold your order back until you have paid the correct rate.

 

Orders received ahead of publication, or if a title is out
of print and is being reprinted, will be kept until any such title is published. Pre-orders will be despatched once we receive the relevant book from our printers. This may be ahead of the official date of publication unless we are obliged not to sell a title ahead of a specific date.

 

 

Orders from outside the European Union

We are very happy to receive and fulfil orders for our books from anywhere in the world, as long as you select the correct postage cost when paying for your book(s). We will always attach the relevant customs form to the package, and indicate the content of the package where required. Nevertheless,
it is your responsibility before ordering to ensure that there are no local restrictions in your country which will prevent us sending you books by post. Should your order not reach you because of any such restriction, we will be unable to refund your postage costs, nor will we be able to refund the cost of
your purchase(s) unless such purchase(s) is or are returned to us in a condition which will allow us to sell it (them) again.

 

 

VAT

Where applicable, all of the product prices on this site include VAT at the current UK rate (2021 rate is 20%).

 

 

Credit Card Security

Your credit or debit credit card number will be encrypted when you place your order with PayPal. Dalen will not be given details of your card details unless you provide us with those details if you choose not to use our PayPal payment facility. We will process any payment on your part through PayPal. Your card details will be destroyed once the transaction is confirmed and complete.

 

Please don't email us your card details as part of general
correspondence – it's not really safe to do so.

 

 

Privacy Policy

We never share your details with anyone else.

 

If you order from us, and consequently provide us with your
email address, or if you proactively provide us with your email address through any other means, we will add it to our occasional newsletter database. You can remove your details from our database at any time by following the relevant
link in our newsletters or by emailing us, quoting 'Delete' in the subject field, at dalen@dalenllyfrau.com.

 

 

Problems

We respect your rights as a consumer and aim to do everything in our power to ensure that your experience when dealing with us is satisfactory.
